What's Been Happening in DillyDallydom

I have been subbing every day since I returned from my trip to Oregon and California.  Yep ... sorta like being back to work, but a lot less stressful!  ;-)  Here are some dillydally snippets of what's been happening on the dillydally side of my life!
Finished piecing this twin-sized quilt top.  It is something I would bring to our guild's "Time to Sew" events ... that was the only time I worked on it.  I enjoyed having a project packed and ready for that purpose ... made preparing for the day easy ... and it was like visiting an old friend every month ... but most importantly, it eventually got done!
A finish meant Flicka and I could begin a new project!  With new fabric ... of course!  Like we need a reason! ;-)
We start new projects anytime we want ... it was time for some Quilty Fun!
Flicka took her place in one of her favorite supervisory positions!
We got busy ... listening to APQ Quilt Radio by Pat Sloan while sewing.
By the time the show was over, I had pieced the spool blocks!
We've been enjoying some warm and beautiful days ... very unusual weather for this time of the year.
This is insane ... now you can see why we have no snow or ice ... crazy!

And of course ... I've been busy working on The DillyDally Trail trip scheduled for July.  So far, five QBees are traveling with me ... three from Minnesota and two from Alaska!  Such fun!
Girlfriend DD has been busy sewing ... love this picture ... it looks like she is drowning in quilting goodness!  And she is!  I treasure the time we have together, watching her sewing skills, sense of personal style, and confidence in quilting grow.
Flicka ... patiently waiting for me ... "Cmon momma, let's sew!"  More hours of daylight in the evening make the afternoons brighter!
Time to begin the second part of our Quilty Fun project.
Preparing to piece the next unit ...
... the pattern requires many ... so I'm not counting ... just sewing.  ;-)
Flicka and "Her Majesty" often have long and serious conversations.
They have a language all their own ... it is sew nice of them to occasionally include me in their fun!  Geesh!
QBee Lila had a birthday this week!
Here is the pincushion Flicka and I made for her ...
... back view!  Gosh, these are such fun to make!
Oh, how these women enrich my dillydally life ... a blessing.
That's it!  That is what has been happening here in DillyDallydom!  Next week, I'm back to dillydallying full time!  Oh my ... wonder what kind of funsense I'll find to fill each day!

Do what you love.  Do dillydally!
Mrs. DillyDally
