It is always such a privilege to witness the success of others.
She arrived at our guild event Sunday with the intent of piecing her blocks together! A girl on a mission!
Guild members have been her biggest cheerleaders ... encouraging and praising her efforts all along the process. It is touching to observe such support for someone new to our quilt community ... melts my heart.
She stuck with it ... all afternoon ...
... and into the evening. Yep ... this is the second time she has been the last person sewing after a quilt event! Such fun! I think that she may have fallen in love with quilting!
She uses her pincushion ... love the way she packs it around as she's working ... too cute!
For a girl who hadn't used a sewing machine before November 2014, she has accomplished a lot! It is an honor to celebrate with her ... she has sew much to be proud of!
Mother Nature honored Girlfriend's accomplishment with a beautiful sunset. A lovely way to end a terrific dillydally day!
