Today is my baby sister's birthday! We are five years apart in age, and for most of our lives we were inseparable!
This photo wasn't dated, but my guess is that my sister was three or four. She loves cats, and we always had a barn full on the farm!
Puppin ... our grandparents collie was very patient with children. Sister age 6, brother age 4.
My little sister's 8th birthday ... with neighbor girls from our rural area! So many fond memories of these beautiful faces!
Easter 1970 ... our grandparents, we were 13, 10, 8 and 6 years in age. We saw our grandparents nearly every day, as they remained active participants on the farm. They taught us so many valuable lessons that we carry with us to this day!
My sister doesn't participate on social media in any form, but she does access this blog ... that is why I have chosen to send her birthday wishes here!
My sister at age one! She would refuse to take naps unless I took them with her ... a constant companion ... exactly how sisters should be! We roomed together until I left for college.
Christmas ... I was seven, the oldest of my brothers was four, sister was two and youngest of my brothers was nine months! I remember feeling that I was too old for naps, but both my sister and the baby wouldn't nap unless I went with them. I would try to sneak out after they had fallen asleep with little luck! This photo wasn't dated, but my guess is that my sister was three or four. My beautiful sister in 5th grade and age 10.
Our ages ... 16, 13, 11, and 9! Look at those hemlines! And look at those sweet innocent faces. We had yet to face the challenges that come with adulthood. Our childhood was wonderful, we never doubted that we were loved and our futures were bright!
