Happy Mother's Day!

These two made me a mother.
This amazing woman taught me how to be mother!

And here are the results!  I have loved every moment of motherhood!  I am both humbled and grateful.

Do what you love!  Love your mother!  Do dillydally!

  2. Happy Mother's Day to you! I just found you via a rabbit trail. I found an idea from Bloglovin' of a blog that another person had followed and I took a peek there. Then I looked at the first blog on that blogs list of friends and found you. I decided to take a peek on down your other posts and found that you, too, are a quilter. I do not like the quilting part of making a quilt and do not do well at it either and do not enjoy it. For a quilt of any size much at all, I quilt with my checkbook. I adore your projects. I see that we may be at opposite ends of the climate spectrum? We did not have much of a winter at all this year. Some years we do have some snow and some times we have quite a bit. And I think it's very hot here in the summer. I live in a suburb of Tulsa, OK. It seems strange for someone who doesn't like hot weather to live here. I moved here ages ago with a job and married an Okie. By the time he was done with the marriage, we had two children. The younger was ready to start college and wanted to stay in OK for that. I wanted to move back close to my mother and was still working and knew that it would be much easier to find a better paying job here, so I stayed where it is hot. Then after my mother died, there just wasn't a reason to move back to WV. Thank you for sharing a snippet of your life. Again, happy, happy mother's day!
